The Renegade Actors Studio is a space for the exploration of life through storytelling. Our goal is to teach students how to express themselves more
openly, freely and with purpose.

We believe in challenging children. By learning at a young age the power of concentration, observation and emotional awareness, they gain the skills to collaborate creatively and productively with others and an increased
confidence in day to day activities.

Our instructors are working actors and directors with years of experience in
arts education. We have also established a partnership with a local film
production company, Chaos Films, to provide students with valuable on-set experience in preparation for future film auditions. As part of this work,
young actors will have the opportunity to develop a collection of footage for
their audition reels.

Additionally, we have consulted with local casting directors to ensure that our curriculum is developing professional quality talent. The film and television
industry is coming back to Austin, and an increasingly professional talent pool ensures that more large productions will cast principal, featured and
supporting roles right here.

Many classes around town are focused on a final production. While we feel
practical experience is important, our primary focus is ensuring that students
are actually learning the curriculum and leave with working knowledge of the industry.

One last thing – and we feel this is very important: we are not here to up-sell
people to buy more classes, sign contracts, or agree to services you can’t afford. We’re artists ourselves, and we understand what it’s like to have a lot of
ambition and not a lot of money. Our goal is artistic bliss.
